Dynamic Vision Sensor
Event cameras are sensors inspired by biology that are fundamentally different from conventional cameras. Instead of capturing images, they measure the changes in brightness at each pixel asynchronously at a fixed rate. This generates data encoded as "events," which include time, brightness changes, and location. Event cameras have superior characteristics compared to traditional cameras, including a dynamic range of 140 dB, high temporal resolution on the order of microseconds, low power consumption, and no motion blur.
